In this course, participants will learn upper quarter PRT techniques and clinical approaches to specific pathological conditions, such as impingement syndrome, bicep tendonitis and others.

Course Objectives

  1. Be able to describe the Mechanical Coupling Theory and how its supporting evidence is applicable for application of PRT for upper quarter somatic dysfunction;
  2. Be able to apply and demonstrate at least three PRT upper quarter techniques to treat common upper quarter conditions such as impingent syndrome;
  3. Recall at least five clinical implications and contraindications of PRT and;
  4. Verbalize how lower quarter PRT and Gait Analysis can be integrated into a Plan of Care (POC).
